It is truly a win - win situation for all involved when a buyer can “roll” the cost of our window and door treatment package in their mortgage!
We have actually found that buyers integrating this cost into the mortgage are happier because they move into a new home complete with custom coverings on all doors and windows...not living in a "fish-bowl" for the first couple of months!
Here is how our program works with existing builders - such as DR Horton, TRIAD Homes, Monticello Homes, The Hollman Company... and many others in our region:
At each of your home sale sites and/or developments, we - Aloha Blinds & Designs
(ABD) - formulates a window / door treatment package for each of the home floor plans and a pricing matrix for each of these plans in the model home or office. We will even install custom treatments – strategically placed – in your model home at no charge to you!
Your sales teams present the packages as upgrade options that can be included in the home price - minimizing any cash lay-out for the client. Rolling the price of a typical window and door treatment package into their mortgage increases their monthly payment by about $5 - $8 per month!
ABD then manufactures, ships, installs and provides a limited lifetime warranty with each package of each home. We bill your company the published matrix model price minus the builder / wholesale discount of 15 – 20 per cent.
Example:
Home model A: Package consists of 2 inch faux wood treatments on all windows and doors and cost the home owner $1820.00 per the pricing matrix in the model home.
ABD invoices your company $1820.00 less twenty percent (20%) = $1820.00 minus $364.00 for a net amount of $1456.00 on net thirty day
terms.
